The first leg of the Çeşme Marina Winter Trophy, organized by the Aegean Offshore Yacht Club (EAYK), was successfully completed with exciting two days.
The races included one competition on Saturday and two on Sunday. This year’s opening race also marked a significant milestone as the first competition held under the ORC handicap system.

The Power of the Wind Shaped the First Day
On the first day, strong winds turning into a storm forced sailors to settle for a single race. However, with improved weather conditions on the second day, both scheduled races were successfully completed.

EAYK Commodore comments: "We will learn and improve together"
Following the successful organization of the event, EAYK Commodore Ramazan Karakundakoğlu stated, “With this first race of the new year, we had the chance to test the ORC system. This is a learning process, and together we will continue to improve. We extend our gratitude to all participants and look forward to meeting again in even more exciting races.”
