1. WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
All yachts MUST Register on Sailclear at least 24h prior to entering the State of Grenada https://sailclear.com/
A negative PCR test is required to be taken within 72 hours of embarking on the journey to Grenada from last port of call (children 5 years and under are exempt).
Mandatory quarantine of up to 7 days is required upon arrival in Grenada.
PCR test is done on the 4th day after arrival in Grenada . A Ministry of Health Clearance will be required to exit quarantine after receiving a negative test result. Results can take up to 48h to be available.
Yachts that have been at sea for a minimum of 4 consecutive days, with no land stop, will be permitted to test upon arrival or at the earliest available testing day. Proof of route will be required by providing GPS tracker data.

2. REGISTER ON SAILCLEAR
All yachts wanting to enter into Grenada MUST register on Sailclear. https://sailclear.com/ a minimum of 24 hours BEFORE arrival into Grenada Territorial Waters. SailClear is the region wide advance notification system for yachts, developed and run by CCLEC (Caribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council). This is a free service. Register online and submit notification which is visible by Customs immediately. Complete ALL necessary documentation within SailClear. This is automatically sent through to Grenada Customs and Immigration. You will not be allowed entry into Grenada if you do not register on SailClear.
3. ON ARRIVAL INTO GRENADA TERRITORIAL WATERS
On arrival into Grenada territorial waters, anchor your yacht in the Quarantine Zone. This is the St. Georges or Mount Pandy Anchorage. ONLY yachts in Quarantine are allowed to anchor in the Quarantine Zone. This is by notice from the Ports Authority.
4. PRESENT FOR HEALTH ARRIVAL SCREENING - Grenada
All crew must dinghy in for the health screening on arrival (symptom review, temperature checks and testing id deemed necessary). The testing team will have a copy of your sailclear information and the forms you completed online. Please present a copy of your negative PCR test and a copy of your check out papers from the country you departed from. The testing team are located in the tent on the lawn at GRENADA YACHT CLUB. Please leave your dinghy on the dinghy dock. All crew MUST follow COVID-19 Protocols and wear masks when presenting and social distance from any other crews or yacht club employees who may be present in the same area. Health screening will be completed between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Mondays to Fridays; and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
5. ON ARRIVAL INTO CARRIACOU (Tyrell Bay)
Once you have registered on SailClear send an email to email@example.com indicating your ETA Estimated Time of Arrival into Carriacou
Anchor your yacht in the Quarantine Zone.
This is in the Tyrell Bay Anchorage as indicated below.

ONLY yachts in Quarantine are allowed to anchor in the Quarantine Zone. This is by notice from the Ports Authority.
6. PRESENT FOR HEALTH ARRIVAL SCREENING - CARRIACOU
All crew must dinghy in for the health screening on arrival (symptom review, temperature checks and testing if deemed necessary). Please present a copy of your negative PCR test and a copy of your check out papers from the country you departed from. The testing team are located in the tent in the yard of the Tyrell Bay Boatyard and Marina. Please leave your dinghy on the dinghy dock. All crew MUST follow COVID-19 Protocols and wear masks when presenting and social distance from any other crews or boatyard and marina employees who may be present in the same area. Health screening will be completed between the hours of 1pm and 3pm from Mondays to Fridays.
7. QUARANTINE ON BOARD
If you have been asked to quarantine on board your yacht, then please follow the rules and regulations of quarantine which are below:
- No shore leave.
- No socialising with other yachts in the Quarantine Anchorage.
- Fly the ICS* Quebec (yellow) flag while at Quarantine.
- Swimming is allowed for exercise and to check the anchor.
- Dogs are not allowed on shore for toilet or exercise while yacht is in Quarantine.
- Please bring enough supplies for 5 days or more at Quarantine.
- Digital/Paperless Payments for health testing and provisioning.
- PCR Test on Day 4 costs USD$150.00 per person. Paid by crew.
- Grenada’s Covid-19 Laws are applicable with charges for non-compliance.
If necessary provisioning while at Quarantine will be facilitated by the Quarantine Suppliers.
- Credit card payments must be used at all times.
- Supplies will be delivered for collection on the designated dock.
- Collection by one person wearing a mask and socially distancing.
The Grenada Coastguard has a list of yachts at Quarantine and will carry out regular patrols and checks.
8. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What protocol do I follow if I am arriving by air and want to collect my yacht from the boatyard, marina or anchorage where it is stored?
A. You follow the airport arrival protocol, and you will have to quarantine in Pure. Safe. Travel Approved accommodation according to the airport arrival protocol. Your yacht is NOT approved Pure Safe Travel Approved accommodation.
Q. I am arriving by air to resume living on my yacht in Grenada, can I apply to do home quarantine on my yacht?
A. No. Home quarantine is NOT available for people arriving by air to resume living on their yacht. You have to follow the same rules for visitor arrivals by air. The protocol for Residents does NOT apply to persons living on yachts in Grenada.
