Marina d’Arechi experience continued boom post Dusseldorf Boat Show 2018

Marina d’Arechi experience continued boom in interest post Dusseldorf Boat Show 2018.

Over 200 contacts and enquiries were made for Marina d’Arechi at the recent Dusseldorf Boat Show, held at Messe Dusseldorf from 20th to 28th January.

Evidently a hit with the countries of continental Europe, Salerno Port and Marina d’Arechi for the Amalfi Coast, continues to forge relations with German and International clients who frequent the annual boat show, to predominantly discuss their leisure and luxury boating needs.

Anna Cannavacciuolo, Marina Manager at Marina d’Arechi, comments, “The success for Marina d’Arechi at Dusseldorf Boat Show is reflective of the growing relevance to sports, leisure and luxury yachting interested in coming to Salerno Port, sailing the Amalfi Coast and berthing in marinas in Italy. We have been delighted to see many new and existing clients during the show and thrilled they are interested in cruising the Amalfi, and berthing with us this summer.”

From the 200 contacts made at the Dusseldorf Boat Show for Marina d’Arechi, 95% of the contacts were from German based clientele, hinting to a fertile market for the luxury boating sector and whom are attracted to the 5* services and facilities of Marina d’Arechi.

Anna Cannavacciuolo continues, “We have had a busy 2018 year so far having exhibited at the London Boat Show, Dusseldorf Boat Show and next up, from 10th February, Nauticsud in Naples. Our client list for berth bookings is developing each time we promote ourselves and we are gaining great reach with clients from Switzerland, Austria and Holland. We are confident that the eyes of leisure boaters are on Marina d’Arechi, and this fills us with great excitement for a busy summer soon to come!”

This year the Dusseldorf show attracted 1,923 exhibitors from 68 different countries exhibiting yachts, boats and accessories to water sports activities. In addition to Marina d’Arechi, another 10 of the best marinas from all over Italy (La Spezia, Marsala and Sardegna) attended the show.

Marina d’Arechi will now enjoy a weeks rest before travelling to Naples for the Italian Nauticsud Show from 10th to 18th February, where the team invite you to visit the Marina d’Arechi stand (Hall 10, Booth 24) to discuss your boating requirements for the year ahead.
