At the recent Paris Boat Show the owner of AMADOUR, Tom Van Der Bruggen, was elected as "Classic Yacht Owner of the Year" by the 13 classic regatta organisers of the French Mediterranean AFYT circuit (the French Classic Yacht Association).
As overall winner of the 2014 Trophée Bailli de Suffren, Tom and Amadourhad a very successful year, a fact that was also reflected by the award of Tom’s captain, Frédérique Brulé, as “Captain of the Year”.
The presentation was made at the exclusive prize-giving gala dinner of theNeptune de la Voile Classique. The event was organised under the aegis of the Yacht Club de France by Henri-Christian Schroeder, Commodore of the Trophée Bailli de Suffren, with the support of the Yacht Club Classique (YCC), the Association Française des Yachts de Tradition (AFYT) and the Atlantic Yacht Club (AYC).
